Session 10 : Advertising Pages

Make advertising pages is the aim of our session. Advertising campaigns need to be precise and wear the season’s inspiration and even the brand’s spirit in a condensed visual language. Fashion advertising is focused on creating promotional campaigns for the fashion industry. Like any other brand, fashion advertising promotes a lifestyle, just like a product, allowing consumers to associate a specific brand with a specific lifestyle and social class. The goal of fashion advertising is to provide users with information about a fashion or service, thus creating a potential customer base. In class we chose some photos created in the last few weeks and selected a few images to create a magazine related ad page, but in choosing the photos I found that I had to understand the ‘personality’ of a fashion brand before I could choose some images that corresponded. So I went to the official Instagram account of the fashion brand to get an idea of the style of the campaign I was going to do. I had a lot of fun and didn’t get bored with the whole process of making ad pages and getting to know some fashion brands better.
