Session 5 : External session Local

This was our last week of a class on creating content images and this session was based around a shoot at the shepherds bush market near the school. Kelly and I worked in pairs and chose a wall with colorful graffiti and green grass, using the trees as a backdrop to take a few shots. This is not the first time I have done location photography, but this is the first time I have done it with a purpose around a street scene. A place can add a narrative or story to the fashion content created. Choosing the right location to design, shoot and ultimately promote a product or brand can add value to the image content. After the shoot I did post-editing, brightening and adding filters to some of the shots. Through this session, I realized that location shooting can be done by placing clothing in a particular scene, or by cleverly using outside props such as some flowers and trees in nature are good props. Location shooting is a great way to explore the hidden side of human nature, not like looking good with nothing, and the pictures become soulful
